My story

I’m a Minnesota-born dreamer passionate about protecting natural spaces. My curiosity and love for learning has spurred me to live in Tennessee, Colorado, New Zealand, and—my favorite of all—Alaska. Four summers working in Denali National Park exposed me to the challenges of land and wildlife management and the global need for more skilled conservation professionals. I moved back to the Midwest and to pursue a professional M.S. degree in Environmental Conservation at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

I’m an experienced leader and writer skilled in science communication, facilitation, project management, and program development. I build strong, lasting relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, and strategic thinking and positivity give me the strength to solve any problem that comes my way.
